Transit’Eau: a dynamic, results-oriented approach to the design of territorial projects

The Transit’Eau initiative: a dynamic, results-oriented approach to the design of territorial projects

Farmers, advisors and scientists working together on the dynamic design of a territory project in a catchment area with nitrate issues discuss the work they do together.

The Transit’Eau initiative aims to build a local territory project driven by results and not means, by putting the farmers back at the heart of the project’s design and by showing the adjustment, over time, between proposed actions and the results obtained as they are implemented.

This approach, developed for territories with “water” issues, relies on various tools (dashboard to monitor the effect of the actions undertaken to achieve the targeted result, monitoring the state of the fields, specific activities with farmers). In this video, the actors of a catchment area who have tested these tools discuss them with the scientists supporting them.
